Masking Exercise

 

For my masking exercise, I used different elements from a few of my "Point, Line, Plane" images. The background of my image is an image of a crack in the floor. The two circular objects are door stoppers that  I selected and used a mask to apply to this image. I also applied some blending modes to these selections to make the image a bit more complex and interesting. The form in the middle of this image is a thermostat that I selected and used a mask to separate from its background, and used a blending mode to create the look of "negative space" or a white space on the floor background image.
